We own and operator our Canadian assets through an indirect wholly owned subsidiary, TAQA North, headquartered in Calgary. TAQA North is a top 15 oil and gas producer in Western Canada and has a diversified asset base with operations primarily focused in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. 

Our production at TAQA North includes conventional oil and gas, coal bed methane and tight gas, producing an average of 78,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd). Our North American portfolio also includes gas compression, processing and transportation infrastructure as well as crude oil batteries that handle all oil production. 

In addition to our Canadian operations, we own interests in two power generation facilities in the United States – an 85% interest a tolling agreement in New Jersey-based Red Oak power generation facility and a 50% interest in Minnesota-based Lakefield windfarm. Both power facilities are managed by our global power and water team.
